The national awareness campaign calls on communities “to amplify the voices of survivors and create environments where survivors have the confidence that they will be heard, believed, and supported.”
The three informational events are:
- Tuesday, April 25 – 8 a.m.-noon at Café Rica, 62 E. Michigan Ave., Battle Creek
- Thursday, April 27 – 8 a.m.-noon at Café Rica, 62 E. Michigan Ave., Battle Creek
- Friday, April 28 – 3-7 p.m. at the Kool Family Community Center, 200 W. Michigan Ave., Battle Creek
Those who attend these events will have the chance to meet victim advocates from different agencies in Calhoun County (including the Battle Creek Police Department), ask questions, and receive information about crime victim rights.
