CENTREVILLE (WKZO) — He denies he did anything wrong but a Three Rivers man has been charged with multiple criminal sexual conduct charges. 46-year-old Cary Jones of is being held on half a million dollars bond for allegedly molesting children at a daycare operated by his girlfriend in Three Rivers.
Jones was arrested this week at the residence/daycare off of Seventh Street after a State Police investigation that began when one of the children complained to a parent about inappropriate touching.
The molestations had apparently been going on for years. Andrea Bitely at the Attorney General’s office says Jones was formally charged on Tuesday after his arrest on Monday with a total of 9 criminal sexual conduct charges, involving half a dozen children
. One of those charges is in the first degree and could mean 25 to life. The state Department of Human Services has suspended the license of daycare operator Tabitha Gordon.
