CHICAGO (WKZO) — Amway co-founder Rich DeVos is adding another pro sports team to his portfolio.
He has purchased a minority share of the Chicago Cubs according to an Amway spokesman, who tells the “Grand Rapids Press” that the family invested in a “non-controlling interest in the Chicago Cubs and the Wrigley Field renovation project.”
DeVos owns the NBA’s Orlando Magic, and the Cubs have brought in six investors to help pay for the overhaul of the ballpark.
