KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety police are searching for a suspect they believe shot and injured a man on Wednesday, March 23.
Public Safety officials say a 19-year-old Kalamazoo man is in stable condition after suffering a single gunshot wound around 11 a.m.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers responded to the 1300 block of Fox Ridge Drive near Alamo Avenue and located the scene of the shooting. They learned that the victim did arrive at a local hospital for treatment.
So far, authorities say that a suspect has not been identified and the motive for the shooting remains unknown at this time.
