KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The City of Kalamazoo is currently looking to fill seasonal positions in the Parks & Recreation and Public Services Departments.
According to the city, a variety of opportunities are available including positions working in forestry, water distribution, and streets, as well as lifeguards, cashiers, equipment operators, recreation program leaders, and other roles.
City officials are encouraging potential applicants to view the full list of employment opportunities and apply online at www.kalamazoocity.org/jobs.
They went onto say that applicants can also visit the Human Resources Department on the second floor of City Hall to get a paper application or for additional assistance.
“We are always recruiting dependable and passionate people that want to make our community a better place,” said Angela Daniels, Talent Acquisition Manager for the City of Kalamazoo. “During the spring and summer months when construction and City programs are in full swing, seasonal staff are an essential part of our team.”
Positions are temporary and the duration of employment may not exceed six months.
