DOWAGIAC (WKZO) — A search was initiated today for an 87-year-old Alzheimer’s patient who was last seen Monday night at 10:30 by her son at her home at 60029 County Road 687 near Dowagiac.
They were concerned because at the time Donna Bell Moulton was only wearing a nightgown.
A K-9 unit was deployed and the dog led searchers straight to a nearby field, several hundred yards from her home.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was only one set of tracks leading to the body and foul play is not suspected.
