KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Schools has scheduled a series of community input sessions to find out what parents, community members, students and staff want in a new Superintendent.
A dozen sessions, with the first one beginning on Tuesday, March 14, will be held over the next three days, including one virtual session each day for those who can’t travel. The in-person sessions themselves will be held in churches, local schools and three High School Auditoriums.
KPS Board President Ti’ana Harrison says they will be held during the day and in the evening, so everyone will have a chance to participate.
The sessions at Central and Phoenix High schools will be take place on Tuesday night, March 14, beginning at 7 p.m.
A complete list of the sessions, and an online poll is available at the district website at https://www.kalamazoopublicschools.com
The Board will use what they gather from these sessions to help prepare the materials and questions that they will use when choosing a new Superintendent later this spring.
