KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — This year’s Home Expo and Garden Show is off to a great start in Kalamazoo, according to Home Builders Association President Keith Crowell.
He thinks it’s because of an improving economy. He says in fact that it’s a good idea for folks to get signed up early for any jobs they need done because contractors are very busy these days.
He says a lot of them left the state for greener pastures during the Great Recession and not all of them have returned.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, at the County Expo Center on Lake Street.
