ZEELAND (WKo)– Here is a sign of the times. A group of about a dozen gays and supporters of their cause were picketing the First Baptist Church in Zeeland Sunday because of the Church’s anti-gay sermons and policies.
Pastor Clint Echols suggests being gay is more lifestyle choice than natural state.
Daniel Vanderley used to be a member of the congregation in Zeeland.Among the protestors former State Senator Lorence Wenke of Kalamazoo, who’s position on LGBT issues prompted him to leave the GOP.Members of the church refused to comment and don’t seem impressed. They are reportedly considering policies that the protestors might consider to be even more discriminatory.
