KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A couple of streets are closing in the City of Kalamazoo this week for some infrastructure work.
The work is set to take place in the Vine neighborhood with the closure of Wall Street between Park and Rose streets which started on Monday, March 6. That street will be closed through Thursday, March 9th according to a news release from the city.
Burr Oak Street between Rose and Burdick streets is set to close on Tuesday, March 7, and will remain closed until Friday, March 10.
City officials say while the closures will most likely impact drivers, sidewalks will stay open for pedestrians, and bicyclists can use them during the closures.
