KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Schools has launched a search for a new superintendent.
The KPS Board of Education has hired the search firm of Ray & Associates to help guide the search and is now seeking public input to help craft the search profile.
Members of the public and staff are invited to comment on the qualities and qualifications they would like to see in the district’s next leader.
The survey will remain open until March 20, 2023.

The board hopes to have a new superintendent in place by July 2023.
Cindy Green, a former KPS assistant superintendent for teaching and learning services, is serving as interim superintendent.
