PAW PAW (WKZO) — Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo has the area’s premiere center for treating burns and all the related injuries, infections and illnesses that they can cause.
Like most injuries, initial treatment requires extended follow-up visits and therapies and that’s why Bronson has opened up a burn clinic two days a week at Bronson Lakeview in Paw Paw.
It will reduce the travel time of those who live in southwest Michigan and need access to Bronson specialists.
Cindy Gentz, the manager of Ambulatory services says it can be months to a year or two that some patients need followup care.
The clinic is open during office hours at 404 Hazen, the Medical Building next to the Hospital on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
