COOPER TOWNSHIP (WKZO) — Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s detectives say a house fire that badly burned a Cooper Township woman Monday may be linked to a crime.
They say it may have been caused by an exploding Methamphetamine lab. They are investigating the possibility. The resulting house fire in Cooper Township on Monday burned a 46-year-old Kalamazoo woman over 90% of her body.
Kendra Story remains in critical condition at Bronson’s Burn Unit. Fire fighters arriving at the house on Boylan Street, near EG Avenue spotted flames and put them out. That’s when they found Story.
