DALLAS, TX (WKZO AM/FM) – Luka Doncic exploded for 53 points to lead the Dallas Mavericks past the Detroit Pistons 111-105 at the American Airlines Center.
Doncic shot 17-of-24 from the field and converted on 14-of-18 free throw attempts in the win. Spencer Dinwiddie was the lone other Dallas player to finish in double-digits with 12 points.
The Mavs have now won two of their last three to improve to 27-and-25.
Detroit fell to 13-and-39 with the loss. Bojan Bogdanovic scored 29 points to lead Detroit, which has dropped nine of its last 11.
The Pistons open up a four-game homestand tomorrow against Washington.
