KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A 70-year-old Paw Paw man was killed in a single vehicle crash on Thursday morning, January 26.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened just before 11 a.m. in the 9300 block of Almena Drive in Osthemo Township.
Upon arrival deputies determined that a pickup truck driven by Alan Dudycha was traveling west on Almena Drive when it lost control and ran off the roadway striking a tree. Dudycha, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both speed and icy road conditions are believed to be factors in the crash.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Oshtemo Township Fire/Rescue, Life EMS, and the Michigan State Police.
