BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) — Battle Creek Police say that someone has been passing phony $20 bills around at different locations.
The bogus bills are not high quality counterfiets, lacking watermarks and security measures. Another dead giveaway, they all have the identical serial number. JF90418055B.
The Detective Bureau is taking over the investigation.
Store clerks should be on the lookout for the funny money and call police immediately if they get any of the bad bills.
