PORTAGE (WKZO)– Portage Public Safety says he has been found and returned home. Published reports claim he made it all the way to McHenry, Illinois, which is North of Chicago, a few miles south of the Wisconsin border.
PORTAGE (WKZO) — Portage Police need your help to find a missing 90-year-old man who decided he wanted to eat at the McDonalds on 9th Street off I-94 on Thursday.RD Lindsay Forshee jumped into his Lincoln Towncar and left.
He was not seen again until 10:30 that night in Van Buren County. About 2-1/2 hours later he called his wife and said he was in Three Rivers and was headed home.
He spoke with a police officer at about 2:15 at Oakland and Shaver in Portage.
Three hours later he was seen headed north on Portage Road near Centre. That was the last time he was seen.
Mr. Forshee is a white male, 5’8” tall, thin build, gray hair but mostly bald, gray eyes and wears glasses. It is believed that when he left home he was wearing tan colored corduroy pants, a plaid shirt and a baseball cap.
He takes a medication for heart issues but does not have his pills with him. Mr. Forshee is driving a black over gray 1995 Lincoln Town car, Michigan Lic. # 7074E2.
