VIRGINIA BEACH (WKZO) — Another Special Forces soldier from Michigan has reportedly died in a training accident.
The Navy confirms that two navy seals were found at the bottom of a pool at the combat swimming training center at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story in Virginia on Friday.
Seth Cody Lewis of Queens, New York died Friday, The other SEAL, Brett Allen Marihugh of Livonia was not pronounced dead until Sunday.
It’s being investigated.
Both were members of Special Warfare Group 2.
It follows the death of three Marines from Michigan during a training exercise off the coast of Florida in March. 7 marines and 4 national guardsmen died when their Blackhawk slammed into the water near Eglin AFB.
