LANSING (WKZO) — It turns out there is a Kalamazoo Connection to the fund that Governor Snyder is using to finance his travels around the country and underwrite his unofficial flirtation with a run for the White House.
In fact the only name attached to the “Making Government Accountable Fund” is William Parfet, the CEO of MPI Research. He is listed as the director of the fund.
MIRS News says the 501[c]4 is identical in structure to the NERD Fund that Snyder was eventually forced to shut down under heavy criticism for its lack of transparency.
Former state GOP Chair Bobby Schostack has contracted by the fund to raise money.
