KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — We told you about this crash earlier this week in Van Buren County.
A woman who had been drinking and speeding lost control of her car on CR 358 Monday evening and struck a tree.
Her car burst into flames and she was badly burned before bystanders and rescue personnel could extract her from the wreckage.
Van Buren Deputies say the woman has now died from the injuries she suffered in that crash at Bronson Methodist Hospital.
She is identified as Denise Michelle Flynn of Gobles. One fire fighter was also burned trying to get her out of the car.
She was 48.
