TEXAS TOWNSHIP (WKZO) — 75-year-old Jimmy Thrashers has been formally charged with open murder and a felony gun charge for the shooting death of his ex-wife.
He claims he was intoxicated, got into a fight with Grace Thrasher and they were wrestling for the gun when it accidentally discharged and she was fatally wounded.
It happened earlier this week in the double-wide mobile home they still shared in Texas Township.
She died from the single gunshot wound.
He was denied bond.
