KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Registration for the 40th John Daley Memorial One One Run now open. The annual race, which celebrates “starting the year out right” is scheduled for 1 p.m. on New Year’s Day at Spring Valley Park, at 2606 Mt. Olivet Road in Kalamazoo.
Those participate in the race can choose between completing a 2.2-mile loop or completing two loops for a total of 4.4 miles.
The entry fee for the event is $35 for adults, $17.50 for teens 13-17 and $12.50 for kids 12 and under, and runners and walkers will receive a knit cap with a commemorative logo.
Packet pickup will take place at Gazelle Sports at 214 South Kalamazoo Mall, from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, December 30, and from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, December 31. Packets can also be picked up on the day of the run.
