Anaheim, CA (WKZO)– The Angels got all they needed from Abert Pujols on Friday night scoring a run in the fourth and homering in the sixth (530th of his career) in combination with a stellar pitching performance by Hector Santiago going seven and a third striking out seven as the Angels shutout the Tigers 2-0.
Angels relief pitcher Houston Street earned his second save, Detroit’s Anibal Sanchez with nine strikeouts gets the loss.
