PAVILION TOWNSHIP (WKZO) — Charges may be filed against an elderly driver who veered off the road and struck a riding lawnmower, injuring a Pavilion Township man and his young daughter.
It happened Saturday afternoon in the front yard of a home in the 54-hundred block of East R Avenue.
Michael Parker was steering his riding lawn mower near the shoulder of the road with his 7-year-old daughter, Rylie Hemmes on board, when the lawnmower was rear-ended by the car.
Both were thrown from the lawnmower.
Parker is listed in serious condition. His daughter escaped with just minor injuries.
The driver of the car, 74-year-old Flo Friender was not injured.
The investigation continues.
