KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — The family of Carol Ann Cole held funeral services this morning for their long lost family member, some 34 years after her violent death in a Louisiana swamp.
There she was dubbed “Bossier Doe”, named after the Parish where she died and her identity remained a mystery until last year.
That’s when a sketch based on her skull’s features was matched with a picture of the missing teen from Kalamazoo, and was later verified by DNA.
Cemetery services were be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Kalamazoo. A memorial will followed at Radiant Church on East DE Ave. in Richland.
