MATTAWAN (WKZO) — Police in Mattawan have released the name of a man who they believe may have intentionally stepped out in front of an Amtrak train on Thursday.
They are investigating the death of 58-year-old Jack Wayne Palmitier as a possible suicide.
It happened at about 9:45 near the Webster Street Crossing.
