BATTLE CREEK (WKZ0) — No names have been released but Battle Creek Police say that a crash between a van and a car has left one person dead.
They say a car headed south on Clark road blew through the flashing red light at Dickman Road and collided with the mini-van, which had the right of way. Police got the call late Friday night.
Both drivers were extricated from the wreckage and rushed to Kalamazoo Hospitals where the driver of the car could not be saved.
More information maybe released later today.
