BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Marijuana provisioning centers in the City of Battle Creek can stay open until midnight following action on Tuesday night by the Battle Creek City Commission as they voted to tweak medical and recreational marijuana ordinances.
Retailers in the City of Battle Creek could not operate between 9 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. under the previous ordinance and several complained they were losing money.
Vice Mayor Carla Reynolds pointed out that the same kind of businesses in Emmett Township can stay open until midnight.
The change in the ordinance was proposed last month.
