NILES TOWNSHIP (WKZO) – Berrien County Deputies are looking for a hit and run driver who struck a 16-year-old girl and after some hesitation, sped away.
For a moment it looked like the driver, a young woman, was going to stop but something compelled her to hit the gas and speed away. It happened after dark Tuesday night in the 1900 block of 13th Street in Niles Township.
Witnesses describe the car as an older model silver Impala. It would have some front end damage. The suspect driver was described as a woman in her 20’s with her air twe The teen victim was treated and released.
