LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND (WKZO) — A 16-year-old from Great Britain who started creating problems in west Michigan by working with a west Michigan teen to make “Swatting” calls, has now been arrested at his Liverpool home.
Nicknamed “Ransom The Thug”, he left threats at WMU, Rockford High and Grand Valley State.
He confessed to WZZM earlier this year that he did it because it was fun.
This spring he expanded out to airports, claiming there were bombs on specific air flights. That’s when it became a national story, and became an international target for law enforcement.
He has been arrested and no doubt questioned and is having considerably less fun than he is used to.
