ALLEGAN (WKZO) — A car blew through a stop sign at Russell and Linco
ln in Allegan at about 11 last evening, and wound up inside a home.
There were no injuries. The startled homeowners were upstairs in bed at the time. They came down stairs and watched as the driver of the car which was parked in their kitchen, walked right passed them to the front door and ran away.
The home was left with a gaping hole in its side.
It will take a structural engineer to determine if it can be repaired. For now it’s unlivable.
The car took out the electrical switch panel, leaving the home without power. Police are looking for the driver.
