SCHOOLCRAFT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Michigan Department of Transportation is inviting the public to attend one of two special open houses next week.
MDOT officials are set to discuss a planned rebuilding and repaving project on US-131 from Shaver Road to the Rocky River in Kalamazoo and Saint Joseph counties.
US-131 is online to be rebuilt in Schoolcraft, with work outside the village to include resurfacing, intersection and drainage improvements, signal work, and guardrail replacement.
