KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — Kalamazoo Public Safety needs your help to identify a bow-legged bank robber who walked into The Consumers Credit Union at 4023 Portage St. at about 10:18 Friday morning, carrying a Jimmy John box and claiming to be delivering sandwiches.
He then whipped out a pair of black semi-automatic handguns and demanded cash from the tellers.
He fled the scene, leaving the box behind.
Witnesses say he was a well-tanned white male around 50-years-old.
He was wearing a back coat and blue jeans and a tan hat with a two inch rim, the kind a fisherman might wear.
His legs were noticably bowed.
His hair was black and curly but looked like a wig.
They believe he got away in a red older model car that might have been a Toyota Corolla fleeing northbound.
