DAVISON TOWNSHIP (WKZO) — The body of a missing boy with severe autism has turned up in Lake Callas in Genesee County, not far from where he disappeared a week ago.
The search for Omarion Humphrey triggered an Amber Alert.
Davison Township Police say the lake had been searched twice during the week by divers using sonar, but they did not find the body of the 9-year old until the search had actually been called off.
His body surfaced Friday morning after a swimmer found a shoe.
His foster family had been visiting the Lake Callis Recreation Complex on July 4th when the boy was first reported missing.
