VICKSBURG (WKZO) — The name of the worker who died at a construction site on a grain elevator at H & H Farms on Portage Road in Vicksburg has been released.
County Undersheriff Pauli Matyas says that 31-year-old Marcos Fonseca of Marcellus was killed after he fell backwards about 25 feet, and struck his head on the way down.
The fall occurred at about 9:45 Tuesday morning in an office area being added to the Grain Elevator. Matyas says Fonseca was an employee of H & H.
The victim is the third to die in a work related accident in Southwest Michigan this past week.
