Tigers hot finish to the season continues as they top Mariners Monday night

SEATTLE, WA (WKZO AM/FM) -The Detroit Tigers are enjoying the spoiler role after another win over a playoff-bound team.

Javy Baez homered as Detroit topped the Mariners 4-3 in Seattle Monday night.  The Tigers have won three straight and nine of their last 10 overall.

The teams play a doubleheader tonight, with the first game starting at 6:10 p.m. EDT.

The Mariners are trying to lock up the second AL Wild Card. They are currently one-and-a-half games ahead of Tampa.
