KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — With the vote just a couple of weeks away, Kalamazoo City Commissioners will get an update Monday night from the Kalamazoo Central Transportation Authority.
The Authority will be asking voters in six communities in the central city area that receive fixed route service to approve three-quarters of a mill to operate the system, and expand service on August 4th.
Apparently they wouldn’t initially be assessing the full millage until they have expanded services up and running.
They are proposing later service hours, expanded weekend service and more buses on the busiest routes.
