KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — They have already started the eliminations at the USTA Boys National Championships, and by Monday, after a few days packed with tennis, the field will be cut in half.
The tournament began with 192 singles players and 96 doubles in two age brackets. That’s a lot of tennis. There have already been a few upsets.
The Tournament will take a pause for grand opening ceremonies and an exhibition tournament Saturday evening.
Then play will resume at one of the most prestigious Tennis tournaments for young talent in the U.S. and continue with elimination rounds until Champions are picked next weekend.
