DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Andrew Vaughan’s first career grand slam helped lift the Chicago White Sox to an 11-5 victory over the Detroit Tigers in their series finale Sunday afternoon.
Drew Hutchison was charged with the loss after allowing six runs over four and two-thirds innings pitched.
Willi Castro and Javier Baez each hit a home run for Detroit, which fell to 55-and-91.
The Tigers will visit the Baltimore Orioles tonight to start a three game series. The opening pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. EDT.
