KALAMAZOO (WKZO) — The Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport has some good news.A third airline has agreed to start flying out of Kalamazoo.
Its not a discount carrier but it will add more flights to O’Hare beginning December 9th, 2015.
The United Express Service will fly three-50 seat regional jets daily making round trips to and from Kalamazoo.
Airport Director David Reid says “This is a great step in that effort by increasing the number of seats departing Kalamazoo, giving business and leisure customers greater flexibility traveling to/from the AZO/BTL region.”
Daily flights are scheduled to depart Kalamazoo at 6:50 am and 2:52pm, with a weekday flight out at 6:22pm. Departures from Chicago will be at 12:20 pm daily, at 3:50 pm and 8:50 pm on weekdays, and 7:10 pm on Saturdays only.
