KALAMAZOO (WKZO)– For the third weekend in a row there has been gun violence in Kalamazoo, and once again there have been deaths or injuries.
In this latest case, a large party on Staples turned into a large fight, and that resulted in multiple gunshots.
Public Safety discovered one victim still at the scene, bleeding from a bullet wound to the arm.
Within minutes they received word that two others arrived at Bronson Emergency with bullet wounds, a 24-year-old with a shoulder wound and a 23-year-old with a leg wound.
All three are in stable condition and are expected to recover.
A 9-mm semi-automatic was recovered from the scene that had been reported stolen.
Police are still looking for the gunman who shot and killed Edward Bell last weekend at a home on Rose Street. 26-year-old George Mack is believed to be armed and dangerous.
And on the first weekend in August, there was a person of interest, but still no arrests in a pair of shootings on Florence and Hawley that sent four to the hospital with non-life threatening bullet wounds.
