ALLEGAN COUNTY (WKZO) — A collision between a Jeep and a Kia Station Wagon in Allegan County has left one man hospitalized.
Deputies say it appears the Kia crossed the centerline on M-89 and hit the Jeep head-on at about 4:30 Sunday afternoon.
The two men in the Jeep were buckled in, treated at the scene and released.
The driver of the KIA was not wearing his seatbelt.
He had to be pried out of the wreckage of his car.
He was taken to Pipp Hospital in Plainwell with multiple injuries, then airlifted to Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo for emergency treatment.
No names have been released; tests for drugs and alcohol are planned.
