Lions prep for second preseason game, make roster cuts

ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Lions continue to put in work at training camp.

Detroit is preparing for its next preseason game Saturday at Indianapolis. Detroit opens the regular season at home against the Philadelphia Eagles September 11.

The Lions are making a couple of roster cuts. Detroit waived safety Brady Breeze and wide receiver Josh Johnson.

The roster cuts allow the Lions to get down to the 85-player limit.
