FENTON (WKZO)– Funeral services have been set for a Michigan State Police Trooper who was killed in the line of duty in a traffic collision north of Detroit on Friday.
Services for tate Trooper Chad Wolf will be held at the Fenton High School Gym at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
It’s the only facility in the area that is big enough to handle the expected mourners, which will include Police Officers from departments all over the Midwest and possibly beyond.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday and 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday at the Sharp Funeral Home’s Fenton Chape. on Silver Lake Road in Fenton.
Charges are still pending against the driver.

CLARKSTON (WKZO) — A Michigan State Trooper has been killed in a horrible accident along I-75 North of Detroit, the driver apparently unaware that he had struck anyone.
A 72-year-old man, hauling a trailer apparently hit The Trooper’s patrol motorcycle as he was attempting to get on I-75 at Dixie Highway in the Clarkston area Friday morning.
State Police Col. Kristie Kibbie-Etue says the Trooper, identified as Chad Wolf, a veteran officer and father of four survived the accident but died later at the hospital.
The officer’s wrecked motorcycle was discovered by another MSP officer passing by.
Funeral services are pending.
