The game was nil-nil thru 5 but that would all change top 6th as Cleveland drew first blood with two on (SS) Francisco Lindor triples in the gap to right center; both Michael Martinez and Jason Kipnis come around to score followed by a RBI single to center by Carlos Santana, Francisco Lindor scores 3-0 Tribe. Cleveland starter Cody Anderson kept the Detroit bat silent thoughout the game and dominating their offense. Cleveland add on more in the 9th on a RBI single by Michael Martinez (CF) Abraham Alamonte scores. Detroit loses to Cleveland 4-0.
