KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) – An autopsy is scheduled for this morning on the body of what is believed to be a homeless white male in his late 50’s who was found dead on the sidewalk in the 600 block of East Vine Street at about 8:30 Tuesday morning.
Apparently there were some signs of head trauma.
They are hoping the medical examination will determine a precise cause of death and might turn up some indication of who the man may be.
Arriving Public Safety officers determined the man was unresponsive when they arrived and they began resuscitation. He was later determined to be beyond medical assistance by EMT’s.
It’s being treated as a suspicious death until they have some answers.
