KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A local fund raising effort has attained 164% of its goal.
The Sharp Smile Center, in partnership with Bronson Children’s Hospital and the Smiles For Life Foundation, raised over 8000 dollars during its 2022 Smiles For Life campaign.
The money will go toward helping children in need.
The foundation’s mission is to improve access to dental care for children, and also increase awareness of wellness and health around the world.
Sharp Smile Center raised $8,193 and donated over $4,000 to help support families with children in Bronson Children’s Hospital’s ICU.
According to Sharp Smile Center, the remaining funds raised will go towards seriously ill, disabled and disadvantaged kids throughout the United State through the Smiles for Life Foundation.
Michael Sharp D.D.S., owner of Sharp Smile Center, said that when communities work together, they can help make a real difference in countless children’s lives.
Sharp’s Smile Center team has been bringing smiles to the community for the last 24 years, donating $115,765 so far through the Smiles for Life campaign.
