LANSING (WKZO-AM) — A Joint Evaluation Committee of Michigan Department of Education officials and an undisclosed “community” superintendent recommended that Augenblick, Palaich and Associates conduct a study of the state’s education funding adequacy.
The Colorado firm beat out East Lansing-based Anderson Economic Group and a Maryland company to determine by March of next year the cost of educating a student to become proficient.
The State Administrative Board has the final say on the matter.
