VAN BUREN COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — The Grand Junction man who has been charged with the death of his wife will not fight extradition, and is expected to be returned to Michigan as soon as tomorrow.
Court documents say Kimberly Bogseth’s body was found by neighbors in a shallow grave about two blocks from the home she kept with her husband, Brent Bogseth.
The autopsy revealed Kimberly Bogseth died from blunt force trauma.
Investigators say they found Kimberly Bogseth’s cell phone in his car with the battery and sim card removed, and they also found a hammer consistent with the weapon used for the murder.
They also say Brent Bogseth had accused Kimberly of having an affair with their neighbor, which is where her purse was found.
Kimberly Bogseth had not been seen since Sept. 1, and was reported missing by friends who say they used to hear from her every day — they became concerned when she didn’t call.
