HASTINGS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Barry County Prosecutor’s Office has issued charges against three additional people connected to the Andrew Lafey murder case.
22-year-old Lafey was convicted of First Degree Felony and Premeditated Murder after he shot and then stomped 18-year-old Gracyn Brickley to death in February 2021. He had shot Brickley several times and then recorded a nearly 11-minute-long video of himself kicking and taunting her until she died.
The three additional people charged include 36-year-old Dustin Scott Stephens of Nashville, Michigan, 46-year-old Colleen Marie Rice of Hastings, and 52-year-old Sheralyn Randolp also of Nashville, Michigan.
Lafey received a life sentence in prison without the possibility of parole after his April 2022 conviction.
During the investigation and trial process, police and prosecutors became aware of information which lead to the arrest of the three additional suspects.
All three additional suspects were arraigned in Barry County District Court on Wednesday, July 20.
